Kapolei Commons announced Hawaii’s first luxury movie theater and several new restaurants including a new dining experience from Roy Yamaguchi will debut in Spring 2016.
Regal Cinemas will open its first flagship theater in Hawaii, the Regal Kapolei Commons 12. Spanning 56,000 square feet, the 12-auditorium luxury venue will feature the latest innovations in cinematic presentation, including spacious all-electric reclining seats, upgraded concessions and expansive wall-to-wall screens.
Culinary pioneer Roy Yamaguchi, the award-winning chef behind Hawaii institution Roy’s, has selected Kapolei Commons to launch the first Oahu location of Eating House 1849. Pairing the easy ambiance and simple flavors of a plantation town with modern ‘haute cuisine,’ this Yamaguchi gem pays homage to Hawaii’s vibrant culinary heritage.
Kapolei Commons will also welcome new locations of eateries Gyu-Kaku, a Japanese restaurant that lets diners grill freshly prepared meats and vegetables at their own tables, and Hawaii-based La Tour Café offering a mix of delicious artisan-style fare.
