Kapolei Commons brought the joy of snow to keiki and their families to kickoff the holiday season. It was a perfect Hawaiian day in Kapolei where 20 tons of snow fell on Snow Day held Saturday, November 29th, 10am - Noon! Over 3,000 people joined the festivities to experience the thrill and chill of snow!
Keiki were jumping into the snow making snowmen, getting their face painted, taking free pictures with Santa and The Storybook Princess's Anna & Elsa. Free snow cones were provided by Coldwell Pacific Properties, arts and crafts with YELP, NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) helped the community get to know their habitat better, and HPD showed up in force with their Keiki Print photo booth. St. Baldrick's, an organization that raises money for childhood cancer, got 7 people to shave their heads for the cause!
