AREA DEVELOPMENT


THE NEW UNIVERSITY OF WEST-OAHU will include over 4,000 residences around the campus, including 760 units for student housing. The campus is planned to serve 7,600 students upon completion in 2015. The first phase, opening in 2009, will include buildings to support approximately 1,520 students and development of 616 residential units.

Residential projects in development for the area will include:

HOAKALEI (HASEKO)
Master-planned community adjacent to Ocean Pointe to include a full-service marina, hotel, the Hoakalei Country Club with 18-hole Ernie Els Signature Golf course, residential communities and a vibrant waterfront commercial district. The first residential community-Ka Makana- will begin sales in May 2008.

HO’OPILO (DR HORTON)
Master-planned community to feature 10,000-15,000 homes upon completion.

OCEAN POINTE (HASEKO)
4,850 homes with 1,800 already completed.

MAKAIWA HILLS (KAPOLEI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY)
4,100 homes (2009-2020).

KAPOLEI WEST (KAPOLEI DEVELOPMENT COMPANY)
2,400 townhomes and apartments and 18-hole golf course (2009-2020).

KAWIHELO AT MANAKILO (DR HORTON)
